Now Hiring: Event Ambassadors
Part-Time | 16+ | Accepting applications until Monday March 9th
We don’t just serve sweet corn and lemonade.
We create experiences.
At Hudson Kettle, every event is an opportunity to bring families together, serve with excellence, and represent something bigger than ourselves.
We are looking for Event Ambassadors — dependable, positive, high-energy individuals who take pride in how they show up and how they serve.
This is not just working a food stand.
This is representing a brand.
Who We Are
Our Mission
We exist to bring families together through fresh, high-quality food and drinks — creating meaningful experiences for the people we serve.
Our Core Values
-
We show up and keep our commitments.
-
We serve people, not just products.
-
We tell the truth.
-
We work with excellence.
-
We stay grateful.
-
We are always improving.
Every lemonade and every cup of sweet corn reflects that standard.
As an Event Ambassador, you represent it.
What This Role Looks Like
This is part-time, event-based independent contractor work for individuals 16 years and older.
Most events take place on Fridays and Saturdays, but we often have needs throughout the week as well.
When applying, clearly communicate your typical availability. For example:
-
“I cannot ever work Fridays.”
-
“I’m unavailable on Wednesdays.”
-
“I’m open after 3pm on weekdays.”
Clarity matters. Reliability matters.
You should be able to commute within Wilson County, and occasionally we serve in Sumner, Rutherford, Williamson, Davidson, and surrounding counties.
Events outside Wilson County typically offer higher pay.
How Scheduling & Selection Work
This is a job-by-job contract system.
Each week, available events are posted with:
-
Location
-
Setup type (tent, trailer, pool concession, festival, etc.)
-
Hours
-
Expected volume
-
Pay for that specific event
You indicate whether you are available for that specific job.
Availability does not automatically guarantee assignment.
For example:
If we need one person on Saturday and four people indicate availability, we will review and confirm the individual selected for that event.
We aim to keep opportunities equitable and rotate assignments when possible. However, selection is strongly influenced by:
-
Overall availability
-
Willingness to travel
-
Reliability
-
Performance and work ethic
-
Excellence in past events
Those who are more available, more dependable, and who consistently perform at a high level will naturally receive more opportunities.
Once selected, you will be notified and confirmed for that event.
Responsibilities May Include
Depending on the event:
-
Serving lemonade and sweet corn at Jimmy Floyd Family Center outdoor pool
-
Working inside our trailer at local festivals
-
Taking orders and handling payments
-
Preparing and assembling menu items
-
Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
-
Assisting with setup and breakdown
-
Engaging customers with a warm, welcoming attitude
Some events are steady.
Some are fast-paced and intense.
All require professionalism and teamwork.
Who Thrives as an Event Ambassador
Those who:
-
Show up early
-
Keep commitments
-
Stay calm under pressure
-
Work hard without constant direction
-
Take pride in doing things right
-
Bring positive energy
-
Represent the brand well
Skill can be trained.
Character cannot.

-
Expressing interest or being contracted does not make you an employee.

Why Join Hudson Kettle?
You’ll gain:
-
Real-world event experience
